General Information

With over 20 years of experience, ViroMed Laboratories has a national reputation for expertise in providing comprehensive laboratory services to meet the unique testing needs of the tissue and eye bank industry.

ViroMed’s CAP-accredited, CLIA-certified laboratory is FDA-registered for screening human cells, tissues, and cellular- and tissue-based products (HCT/Ps). Additionally, ViroMed incorporates quality assurance measures to monitor laboratory quality and customer satisfaction.

Testing is performed seven days a week, including holidays.

ViroMed provides flexible report options to ensure timely delivery of results and offers specimen collection supplies, custom test request forms, and logistics support for client convenience.

ViroMed offers customer support seven days a week, 24 hours a day, along with technical consultation and a dedicated account management team committed to quality service.

ViroMed scientists are available for consultations, and clients are encouraged to call any time they have a question or special concern. We pride ourselves on being an accessible, invaluable partner and resource.

All questions regarding testing services and pricing should be directed to your ViroMed Account Manager. Routine matters, such as test results, printer operation, and requests for supplies, are handled by ViroMed's Client Services Representatives.

Hours
ViroMed’s client services hours are 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Central time), Monday through Friday. On-call staff is available outside the normal schedule.

Client Supplies

Test Request Forms
ViroMed has special test request forms designed specifically for use by tissue bank clients.

Request forms are revised as new testing services are added to ViroMed's test menu. For specialized testing or for new tests not preprinted on the forms, clients may simply write in their request in the spaces provided.

Fully customized test request forms may be formatted to meet a client’s specific needs or testing requirements. For more information, please contact your Account Manager.

To order a supply of ViroMed's test request forms pre-printed with client data, please contact Client Services.

Sample Transport Supplies
Supplies for collection and transportation of donor samples being shipped to ViroMed can be ordered by calling ViroMed Client Services or by faxing a completed Donor Supply Request Form to ViroMed Client Services at (952) 939-4012.

Test Result Reporting

Reports can be delivered to clients in a variety of formats including autofax and on-line reports. Additionally, ViroMed can accommodate requests for situations in which reports need to be delivered to multiple sites for a given donor tissue.

Client Audits

Audits of ViroMed's facilities can be arranged through your Account Manager. We welcome the opportunity for clients to see first hand our advanced laboratory capabilities, scientific expertise, and quality systems.
